Wicking bed community garden in Tecoma
What's it all about?
The Flame Community Garden is in front of the Tecoma Uniting Church (TUC) in Tecoma opposite the shops. It was set up by The Hills Food Frontier in partnership with the TUC and Moonrise Permaculture. It is managed jointly by THFF and the TUC. We have regular working bees that always include fun, eating and learning and sometimes include a pop up plant and poop sale with Miranda from Gone to Ground. We meet monthly for garden discussions and learning and always welcome news locals to our group. The garden also includes a hot composting area and playground for children.
